Extremely rare Wedgwood Aquarius zodiac large screw on earrings. White bas-relief cameo order on traditional light Blue Jasperware stoneware. Incredible high detail, The bas would have been hand ornamented at production.
Sterling silver ornate Filigree type mount around circular Cameo. Stamped on rear WEDGWOOD in old typeset & 1954.
Pre-owned, vintage but in very good condition. Working screw clasps. Stamped STERLING on reverse.

The water-bearer is the star sign/sun sign for January 21 to February 20 (sources varied in dates). A air sign of the zodiac.

The myth comes from the beautiful youth Ganymede who Zeus fell in love with and carried away to the heavens. He is cupbearer to the gods.
