This fashion bar earrings was inspired by one of our best selling signature Mother of Pearl shell earrings . This is part of the ‘Ihile'a collection by Te Hotu Mana Creations. A line of triangles in Polynesian tattoo design represents “Courage “.

Inspired by a very popular and traditional Hawaiian/ Polynesian design , it is widely found and expressed in tattoos and Tapa patterns . The line of triangles represents courage . It is believed that the meaning of this design is symbolic of spear heads found on weapons used by Polynesian warriors hence ( being courageous) .
This design has various meanings inspired by various natural elements . Another one of order them being the Niho Manō ( or shark teeth ) which is a symbol of strength , fearlessness , power and protection .
