The Art Silver Company of Wallingford, Connecticut had as its genesis the Preisner Silver Company which was founded in 1935 by Preisner and Bukowski. It appears that the Preisner silver company primarily manufactured Sterling silver items. The owners of that firm later established the Art Silver Company in the late 1930's to manufacture silver plated articles. Both the Art Silver Company and the Preisner Silver Company were managed by the same group of people.

This item was previously owned. It will have some minor scuffs and scratches. It will have some tarnish and will need you to give it a good buffing, cleaning, or polishing.
