Sometimes my imagination gets carried away with the beauty of the galaxies I see in the photos from NASA. This one is inspired by one of them.

Layer upon layer of transparent fabrics make up the vibrant colors seen between the spiral of free-form stitches and beads. Two layers of edge-beaded fabric circles create the golden origin, from which one order single planet spawns the many as they make their way into their own orbits, not yet large enough to cluster into star systems of their own.
