Awareness Vase Deep Blue Glazed Stoneware Vase in order Shape of Woman

The color of this Stoneware Awareness Vase is a deep blue created by a glossy stoneware glaze over a reddish brown clay making the color illusive, almost black at times. It stands about 11 ." tall. It looks stunning filled with fresh or dried flowers. Pieces in this series have a timeless quality and evoke ancient sculptures of female form.

I worked on this series as I was going through cancer treatment and order the work was very healing. The series was part of an exhibition At the Asian Gallery in West Brattleboro , Vt. several years back.
