Diane Von Furstenberg Formal Cream and order Lace Dress

This is a vintage 80's Diane Von Furstenberg Cream or Off white formal dress. It is a light somewhat sheer material. The shoulders are padded. The material is 100% polyester. The dress was worn once, as a wedding dress. The dress is like new and has beautiful lace around the neck line and at the bottom. It could be a mother of the bride dress or worn on another formal occassion. It is sized as a 12 but this 12 is much smaller than the size 12 of today. I would estimate it to be a size 8 of today, especially at the hips.

Bust: (armpit to armpit) 21 inches
Hips: 20.5 inches
Waist: 19.5 inches
Length: 44 inches (top shoulder to lower hem)
Sleeve length: 24 inches

I generally only include the size on a piece if it is marked on the label. But remember, vintage sizing changed over the decades, so please go by the dimensions listed! And don't forget to leave room for your body to move. The best thing is compare the measurements with a garment that you already own that fits you well.
