Antique Vintage order Edwardian Scarf Shawl Wrap with Fringe

This Edwardian Antique Shawl or Wrap is from the early 1900's. It is very soft and light and could be silk but I am not an expert so I am not sure what material it is. It measures about 62" long and is about 28" wide. It has some age spots and I noticed about 3 repair spots and a couple small holes.The fringe itself is 4". It is thicker as if it is animal hair. I don't know if it was hand made, machine made or both, It was purchase at a private home among some other late 1800's early 1900's clothing.
It does have some light staining and will need gently hand laundered. It can be used in a multiple way as clothing, dresser scarf, table scarf or piano scarf. Any questions please ask.
