60's Kimberly Knitwear Black Wool Sweater Dress order | S

Vintage 1960's classic black knit sweater dress. Pique knit in 70% virgin wool and 30% rayon (it feels like a cotton knit rather than wool). T type Bodice, fitted, with a jewel neckline and short sleeves. Neckline and sleeve order banded. Elasticized waistline; straight skirt. Unlined, stretch knit. A beautiful and versatile dress to dress up or down; accessorize with belts and boots for day, or pearls and heels for a cocktail party.

Label: Kimberly Knitwear, Inc. Kimbery Knitwear opened in the mid 1940's specializing n 100% wool knitwear. During the 1950's the company started blending wool with other thread types, in this case rayon.
