I created the Intersection earrings by cutting the oval shapes from sterling silver sheet metal. I then gave the surface a subtle texture. I drilled lines of intersecting holes through the earrings to create a geometric pattern and then added heat rivet pins inside each hole. I created the pins by hand cutting small pieces of Argentium sterling silver wire and heated them on both sides of the earrings with my torch to form tiny balls to hold them in place. The earrings have an oxidized finish and hang from handmade Argentium sterling silver ear wires.
