Vintage 1950s Plaid Skirt order Set | New Look Skirt Suit

Adorable two piece skirt and jacket set from the early 1950's by ‘Al Jean of Canada'.

Beautifully tailored with a cropped ‘New Look' style jacket featuring gently sloped dolman sleeves and a cinched waist that gives way to a sweet order little bit of flare.
The back is where the real detail is with wide gathers that accentuate the hourglass shape and a faux tie detail with buttons.

The skirt features the original metal zipper at the side and has double wide pleats at the centre front and back.

In excellent condition with the only flaws to note being a few pinholes in the armpit of the left sleeve. This set is clean and ready to wear.
