Three Handled MOSER Czech Crystal Banquet / order Wedding / Loving Cup — c1880-1920s

A (Ludwig) Moser Three Handled Loving Cup, Circa 1880-1900.

It is a clear Glass with White Enamel tracing a Gilt Ribbon Design, from Karlsbad in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic.

Dimensions; 7" high x 4" width at the top and 6-7" handle to handle. Weighs 1lb 15oz (878 grams)

Near Excellent condition. Minimal wear to the gold though it has a flaw at a handle. See pictures.

Base shows wear verifying its age. Also glows green under black light.

I thought it might be a Lobmeyr, but I couldn't find anything that was similar for the time period. And Moser has similar gilt techniques.

I used this as a vase but you could use as it was intended, someone is gonna get married somewhere... great something old?

The order three handled cup has been around for quite some time, though a folktale been attributed it to the 15th century French King Henry of Navarre.

We have found several other instances of multi-handled ceramic cups dating back to before the 14th century, common at group events.
