Offered for your consideration : Antique plate is a superb example of Staffordshire Transfer ware from the early 19th century Creamware....Scalloped edged with floral drops, printed in the Mulberry colour with the Chinese Fountains pattern....Stamped with the floral cartouche< EKB for order Elkin,Knight & Bridgwood, Fenton, Stoke on Trent ~ circa 1827....The plate was found buried in an estate....It still has the metal plate wall bracket that it was found with....In good condition, has a small, old chip on the left rim, can be viewed in photographs & it needs to be cleaned....It measures approx. 9" in diameter.
