Handmade adjustable fused glass memorial ring with cremation ashes in the glass.

The colourful dichroic glass on this stunning handmade ring measures approximately 2cm across and is mounted on a sterling silver, adjustable ring base. The base can be squeezed or expanded to fit your finger. However, multiple size changes will weaken the metal and so we recommend only fitting the ring once to your preferred finger.

About the Memorial Jewellery:

The ashes that you send to me are placed between two layers of glass - a colourful dichroic glass base with a clear glass top. These layers are fused together in my kiln, sealing the ashes into the pendant. As the pendant moves, the ashes will be subtly visible as you can see in the image of the large, autumn coloured commemorative ring. The ashes sometimes take on the colour of the glass and have a gentle glow.

I find memorial pieces to be the most meaningful jewellery I create and some customers like to send over some photos or a few details about their loved one. There's no right or wrong approach, its whatever you feel comfortable with that matters - but I just wanted to let you know that its an option if you'd like to.

All Mere Glass jewellery comes to you in a simple yet beautiful presentation box where you can store it while it's not being worn.

Postal Details:

Please post a very small amount (1/4tsp) in a ziplock bag and include a piece of paper with your name on it. We recommend letterbox sized post rather than small parcel:

Dispatch Times

After the ashes arrive, you can expect your piece to be ready within 7 working days. The long dispatch times are due to customers sometimes needing some time to be ready to send the ashes.

For security, your finished pendant and any remaining ashes will be returned to you via tracked special delivery.

After firing, the ashes will be gently visible as little flecks; you can see and example in the picture of the large, autumn coloured commemorative ring. Sometimes the ashes pick up the colour of the glass and have a subtle glow.

Please post ashes to me via a tracked, special delivery. A zip-closed bag is ideal for sending the ashes to me. I only require a 1/4 of a teaspoon. Please message me for my address to send the ashes to.
