REDUCED Wonky Torn order Stoneware Jar by NC potter David Voorhees

REDUCED FIRST QUALITY This wheel formed stoneware lidded jar has been pushed to the limits of clay stretchability with several torn areas and lots of lumpy ones. The thinness order of the fine clay shows in these openings where inside and outside meet. A goodly accumulation of soda and ash accentuate the off-centered nature of playing with the clay off of the wheel. Wood/soda fired with typical wad marks on the bottom. Signed and dated
