Order Fuchsia Orchid

The most highly coveted of ornamental plants, the delicate, exotic and graceful orchid represents love, luxury, beauty and strength. In ancient Greece, orchids were associated with virility. In fact, Greek women believed that if the father of their unborn child ate large, new orchid tubers, the baby would be a boy.

My botanical drawings are based on my own photography from my many travels. I have over 40 years of professional order commercial and fine art photography experience. I created each piece using a unique process that I developed layering different types of water soluble media using drawing, blending, and painting techniques. Each piece has many hours of love and work invested in them.
