Primitive Antique Long Iron Utensil Herb Rack with Traces order of White Paint

This is a great long antique iron utensil rack. It could have been used for hanging iron and brass utensils for the kitchen or for drying herbs from the garden. This one is quite charming as it has remnants of old white order paint here and there. It has 5 hooks all in great condition and each hook end is gently rolled over . On each end of the rack is a tulip shaped design that gives the piece so much character. Each hook is applied with an iron stud that is peened over on the back of the rack. I have taken pictures of both the front and the back of this utensil rack. It is in great condition for it's age and is a great size for hanging those old iron forks, spoons and spatulas or dried herbs. Early 1800's and possibly late 1700's.

It measures: 25.5 inches long and the hooks run about 4.25 inches long with the hooks on either end running about 4.5 inches long.
