This rag quilt is handmade, and ready to keep your little one comfy and cozy! The front is designed in 100% cotton and patterned with a combination of 4 fabrics: (1) Tan and cream stripe with blue anchors, (2) Chambray blue with tossed cream colored anchors, (3) Antique look tan and blue pinstripe, (4) Chambray blue with cream colored rope sailors knots. The color tones and designs on these fabrics are very antique and vintage looking. It is backed and lined with a high quality flannel fabric for extra comfort and warmth. The back is a tan color and is lined with a cream colored fabric. All of these fabrics show on the front of the quilt in the "rag seams" and blends with the vintage look of this quilt without being distracting. Each block has been stitched with the traditional X and all seams have been double stitched for extra durability. The edges of each square on the front are exposed and hand snipped, designed to fray (rag) and become softer with each wash. It measures approximately 36”x50”, making it the perfect size for the crib, great for naptime, tummy time, stroller rides and car rides. It would make a great gift to welcome a new baby. It would also fit a toddler bed perfectly, or could be used as a throw or wheelchair quilt. This quilt turned out super cute.

Quilt has been washed and dried to begin the "ragging" process. Machine wash warm or cold, tumble dry low. Hand crafted in my smoke-free and animal-free home. This item will ship order in 1-2 business days.
