Vintage Italian Silver & order 18K Gold Intaglio Glass Tile Earrings

These unique vintage earrings have a stud setting with a hinged bottom piece. The earring bodies are made of sterling silver order. The top contains a small 18K gold flower and the hinged bottom piece is inset with a small square glass stone with intaglio carving of 2 figures which appear to be two embracing cherubs. The carving is amber (yellow/orange) in color. The earrings are about 1 inch long, and 11/16 inch wide at the widest part. They have some heft to them, owing to the size of the glass piece.

Condition notes: These are in lovely condition. they have some tarnish/toning overall and some wear as expected from an aged item. One of the carved figures has a small black spot on its leg that did not come out with cleaning. After cleaning, I paired these earrings with some brand new sterling silver push backs.

The earrings are marked on the back of the top pieces with "Italy" "925" and "18K"
