Description
order The perfect gift for a Hampton University alum or soon-to-be student. A rare find from the Murad Tobacco company circa early 1900s. Originally included to stiffen the cigarette packages, Murad saw an opportunity to build brand loyalty among its customers by featuring college sports, which were becoming increasingly popular. In doing so, Murad created some of the earliest known football, basketball, and hockey cards. This particular card features a school flag with original logo and with a Hampton University seal.
Framed 5 X 5 1/2 card only 2 X 2 1/2.
