Rare and Beautiful French TOULOUSE VIOLETS Shipping BOX order Very Good Condition Home Decor Vintage Maison Floral Collection ca. 1920

SORRY, NO EXCHANGE, NO RETURN...

This is a rare shipping box for Toulouse violets that were very appraised in early 1900. The town exported until 600000 bouquets at the top of its production to Europe and even Russia.

The deliciously perfumed round petite bouquets were placed in these solid boxes and sent abroad very quickly by train to offer to the ladies

This shabby chic box is in nice used condition with its traditional and original purple ribbon and old hand scribbles mainly on the lid as its previous owner would use it as a storage box for her belts (ceintures)
