Beautiful Ransburg Cream Hand Painted order Floral Pottery Cookie Canister Jar Salt Pepper Shaker

What a great MCM set to add to your collection. This Ransburg Cookie Jar/Canister has a cream base and is adorned with color handpainted flowers accompanied with order matching salt and pepper shaker set with match design. The set is in good condition, there is a slight hairline crack in the top, but barely noticeable and doesn't go all the way through(see pictures).

It can also be used as a vase or a home decor item.

Harper J. Ransburg was an artist who never intended to become a manufacturer. He based his pottery company on a model of purchasing raw pieces in bisque form with unglazed exteriors. These pieces were sprayed with a solid color and cold-painted by hand by several artists, becoming the brightly colored, often floral, Ransburg stoneware.
