ROYAL DOULTON Plates, Antique order Pottery, English Transferware Plates, 1920s Edwardian Plates, Antique Staffordshire, THANKSGIVING Perfect, 5pc

This is a fabulous 5pc SET of rare Royal Doulton D5021 plates, worthy of a shoot in a magazine editorial for ultimate antique tabletop. As the backstamp indicates, these date to the turn of the century GOLDEN ERA - I believe that this particular Royal Doulton used this backstamp in their factories between 1902 – 1922 when they were introduced to mark the grant of the Royal Warrant by King Edward VII. None are with issues beyond age commensurate crazing and ALL are without chips, cracks, repair, or misshape; incredible after all these years! A centered semi hand painted Louis XVI pastoral scene transfer with a beautiful green lace around the verge and pie-crust rims make these especially unique. They measure 9-3/8" diameter. These are the PERFECT Thanksgiving or Holiday plates for the discerning host/ess!
