The diameter of this antique plate is 11 3/4”. This Malay Japanese low-grade silver (silver-copper) plate is unusual for its' size with the scalloped edge. It is made in typical Malay style with scrolling, foliage, flowers and peacock motif. The style is Folk Art. It was made in the Late 19th Century. This plate is in EXCELLENT SHAPE with no chips, cracks, or bending. Almost no visible wear.
