Vintage Fish Decoy order Red Paint Wood and Metal Fishing Folk Art 12 1/2"

This vintage fish decoy is painted red with a white fin accent and black and white dots along the middle. The order metal fins are slightly pitted and have surface rust. The eyes are black tacks. There is a lead weight inserted in the bottom and was painted over with red paint.

This decoy is a nice, large size measuring 12 1/2 inches long by 3 3/4 inches at the widest point including the metal fins. The wooden body is 1 3/4 inches at the widest point. It weighs slightly over 1 pound.

There are old ring holes on the top with a new ring now present. The wood is in good condition and nicely carved. The red paint has worn off in spots.
