Lapidary is the craft of designing, sawing, grinding & polishing, milling & drilling, and wiring precious stones. There are up to order 30 steps to create a gemstone. We do over 90% of this work in our own shop to create the finished pieces you see on JimzGemz.

We started making gemstones when I retired in 2011. So far, we have made over 15,000, and sold over half. Business continues to grow, and we are pleased to provide for you our natural, hand-crafted products.
