Vintage Danish silver and steel cigar cutter. The handle of 830 standard silver with a hammered effect surface. V cut and guillotine cut. The end with notch for cutting the paper wrap. To one side engraved with a monogram "E.A." and to the other dated "8-7-52", with a hallmark to this side, "830s" for 830 standard silver, and makerĀ“s mark "J.S.", not identified.
The cutter and knife in steel, with pinwheel mark, for Pfeilring, Solingen, Germany.

This cutter was designed when cigars were smaller in diameter. The rounded end with a notch was used to cut the paper wrap off the box.
Some small pinprick dents due to normal use.
