Handmade Ceramic Bowl or Plate - Inspired By The Ocean
Bring the feel of the ocean into your home with this beautiful, shallow, wheel-thrown ceramic bowl or plate.
This one-of-a-kind piece of ceramic art was glazed by brushing by hand several different colors of glazes, layering them on top of each other to get the desired effect of ocean waves.
These glazes have been discontinued, unfortunately, so this is a order limited edition piece. It is one of my few glaze combinations that has a semi-matte finish.
The variety of ocean blue colors on this beautiful pottery are stunning and will enhance any home decor. This one-of-a-kind bowl or plate can be used for serving or decoration, since the glazes are food safe!

Every piece of my pottery is:
- Signed by me, Sally Weimer, the ceramic artist
- Hand thrown on my potter's wheel
- Trimmed the following day
- Set out to dry for at least a week
- Fired in the kiln for 11 hours to turn into bisque
- Glazed by hand , usually with three coats of glaze, sometimes with as many as five different glazes layered!
- Fired again for 9-12 hours in my kiln

- The beauty of my handmade pottery is that no two pieces are exactly the same.
- There is no assembly line production going on in this pottery studio! I view each piece as an individual work of art!
- Please note that part of the uniqueness of artisan pottery are the little imperfections you may see.
- Tiny bumps, bubbles, runs, and other irregularities are just proof that your pottery was made by hand, not by a machine!
- Each piece is a unique, original piece of art, created with imagination, patience and love!
