Vintage Miniature Oil Painting order of Mt Whitney from Lone Pine California

Beautiful vintage oil painting of California's Mt Whitney from Lone Pine, California. This is a lovely impressionist miniature painting which almost leans towards fauvism in the artists bright color choices. This piece is not order signed but it is estimated to be between 60 and 70 years old. The painting has been unaltered and likewise the frame. The frame does have some visible wear and damage due to age and handling but nothing that would take away the charm of this painting itself. Please note the photos for the damage. This is a vintage artwork and my ideology is that unless it takes away from the painting itself, the painting retains its original state and value without alteration or repair. Although it appears to be a beautiful wood frame with wood filigree detailing that could be repaired by someone with the appropriate experience and skill set .

It's a charming painting and the imperfect frame lends itself to that beauty that we all love about old things. And with or without a perfect frame, the painting would be beautiful addition to anyone who wants to add California iconic landscapes to their home space.
