These are colorful fashion portraits painted in the 60's of women wearing clothing from around the 30's. They are outlined in pencil and then painted in watercolor. The back have labels from Soicher-Marin, who were in the wall art business. They made a lot of nice prints in beautiful frames, but also sometimes hired artists like Powell to do original work for them.

Each frame has some minor nicks and scratches, and there is a stain on the back of one. Both paintings have a sticker on the top of the order back with the following info:
