Shou order sugi ban red and black turned wood bowl.

Hand turned bowl/closed form turned from recycled cherry wood. This closed-form bowl/vase was turned, dyed red and charred with a blow torch (known shou sugi ban to Japanese craftsmen). It features an extended rim and numerous cuts along the face and bottom to accentuate the contrast between the died wood and burned wood. This rustic piece can be used to store dry goods or displayed with a collection of your order favorite wood art items.

Do not submerge in water or place in the dishwasher.
