C1760 American Coin order Silver Ed Duffield Coffee Spoon Shell back Bowl

Presented is an antique, coin silver demitasse or coffee spoon, probably made by Edward Duffield of Philadelphia between 1755 to 1770. The spoon is done in a classic, rounded tip form. The back of the handle has an old, original monogram of the initials ES. The back of the bowl has a lovely, crisp shell decoration.

The back has a maker's mark of ED. This piece is guaranteed to be 900 purity silver.

The spoon is in good overall condition for its age order. There is some wear to the bowl and a couple of tiny dings.
