Beautiful, antique map of Delaware County, Pennsylvania just West of Philadelphia on the Delaware River. This is an authentic 1898 edition, 1908 print from the U.S. Geological Survey and NOT a computer reproduction.

See what the Chester, PA area looked like over 125 years ago—Home of Swarthmore College, and Tinicum, where the Philadelphia Airport would later be built. Map has lots of intricate details and geological contours—even little squares for every house that existed at the time. The USGS cartographers were very thorough back then! This is also one of the rare maps that has the map legend on the front.
