Vintage Pearl SIded Evening order Purse

This elegant pearlized sided metal handbag is a true find. Vintage from the late 1940s/early 1950s, this cosmic cosmetic “bag” was a necessity for sophisticated evening wear. Could be used as a clutch or carried by metal “snakelike” handle. Inside, there is a very good mirror that hinges back to show the original hankie. To the side, there is a compact with some original powder still inside. This too, has a hinged lid. In the middle is a fabric case for a tortoiseshell comb and lastly, the lipstick. The original dark red lipstick still inside, albeit used. Everything works well and hinges clasp well and tight. While there are a few others on the market, it is rare to see lipstick as well as powder comb and hankie still inside. Measures 5.25in.x3.0in.x.75 in. order
