Vintage Ernie Grover Hand Puppets Sesame Street Lot Plush Felt Cardboard * They measure about 10" tall. * I believe these were made from an early 1980's McCall sewing pattern. Seams are single stitched on a home sewing machine, rather than sewn on a order serger. Their hands are hand sewn to their tummies. * Grover is made of fake fur with felt eyes, nose and mouth. His mouth is stiffened with cardboard and his head is stuffed with fabric ball filled with fiber fill. * Ernie's orange skin features are felt. His shirt is some kind of jersey like fabric and the arms are stuffed to thicken them. He also has a cardboard stiffened mouth and stuffed head. * In pre-owned condition. Ernie's felt has two small worn spaces under the collar of this shirt and his felt is nubbly. There's a stain on his arm that is the remnants of a marker stain. I was able to get most of it off with dish soap, but I didn't want to try anything too harsh on the vintage fabric and you can still see some of the stain. Grove.
