Woven on the same wooden form as the beloved Large Picnic Basket, but without the attached lid, this Getaway Basket features a colored shoestring weave for added style and charm. Part of the Sweetheart Collection, this basket was first offered in 1990 and then returned in 1993, and it is adorned with a red accent weave. The basket is in good gently-used condition and it has a few lighter places as shown in the photos mainly on the bottom. These might be removable and are not distracting or disfiguring. The basket measures 17" l by 14" w by 11" h with two swinging handles. The set includes the basket, a Ticking Stripe fabric Liner and a plastic protector. The liner is lined with light interfacing to stiffen it, which is an unusual feature for Longaberger's.
