Beautiful Antique Victorian Napkin Ring by Simpson Hall Miller & Co. a very beautiful piece.. Figural napkin rings and figural toothpick holders were popular in the USA and in other places of the world during the period 1860-1910. Napkin Rings were a necessary item for each person to have to identify their cloth napkin which would only be washed once a week. Paper napkins hadn't been invented then. The color and detail is just fabulous! It is in original found ‘as found' condition . I did polish it and It is Quad silver plated. It is incredibly detailed and It is in beautiful condition.
