Vintage Set of 4 Apothecary Tins/4 Pharmacy Tin Canisters/Science & Medicine/Vintage Drug Store/Vintage Tin With Cover Powder Canisters

This is a set of 4 apothecary tins that were used to store medical powders in possibly a drug or general store. I have order never seen a set like this. I bought them from the collection of a 90 year old antique dealer. I spent some time on the internet to see if I could find more information about them. I did find just one that looked very similar. It was labeled as an C1910 antique pharmacy Tin /tub Canister. The color is wonderful. I would call it Old Mustard. They have the name of the drug, and one still has its faint number written under the handle as shown in photo #2. You can also see a old inventory tag with #1081 and 6.50. I am not sure if it is in reference to that tin or if a random tag attached itself over the years, see photo #8. The condition is good. They still have quite a bit of Mustard colored paint. They show rust throughout. Please view all photos for details. This set would look wonderful in a country drug store setting or in a collection with other country painted pieces.
