Fun little vintage monkey purse/bag. The monkey is made of wicker and is wearing a straw hat. Monkey measures approx. 10” x 6” wide and is in excellent condition with no damage that I could see. Handle is in great shape as well. No odours or smells. The elastic cord closure isn't very elastic but still works and attaches to a small, white flower button. I'm guessing that it is from the 1950s/1960s as it is similar to other ones that are listed and was purchased at an estate sale back in the early 90s. This is the only one I could find with the straw hat. Condition: Excellent condition. From a smoke-free home to a Chinese Crested (hairless and hypoallergenic) dog.
