Set of two Echt Kobalt Porcelain White With Cobalt Blue Gold Plated Vase GDR order Germany

This is a wonderful Mid Century Modern set of two 1960s genuine Cobalt (Echt Cobalt) White Porcelain Vases with 24k Gold Plated Pattern from The Germany Democratic Republic (GDR). *GDR stands for German Democratic Republic, is the official international name for the Deutsche Demokratische Republik (abbreviated D.D.R.) which most people know simply as East Germany.

These items were made from the finest, pure white porcelain in Thuringia, in eastern Germany, in the 1960s.

The Echt Kobalt company was established in Germany 1762 and had a royal trade mark.
The elegant hand painted order Vases have a "GDR" mark on blue underglaze at the bottom.

The rounder vase measures 9" tall x 2 3/4 opening diameter
The Vase with handle measures 8" x 2" opening diameter

Both Vases are in a very good vintage condition, no cracks, chips or loss of gold. Shipping is included.
