Anybody else out there love Penny Dreadful? What a deliriously romantic mash-up of Gothic horror!!

This lacy, vintage Victorian style metal medallion came from one of my favorite NYC sources. I kept it simple for the necklace, using ghostly gray pearls with a blush aura, patinated sterling silver beads, and jet black Swarovski crystals.

The medallion is made of two layers of lacy metal, domed on top to give it some dimension, finished with order a glossy black enamel. The enamel is a little worn, with flecks of silver peeking through. It is probably nickel silver, but there are no makers marks. The necklace is adjustable from about 17" up to 20", so you can wear it with a scoop or V neck, or outside a high collar.
