These nature inspired fine silver (.999) earrings began as mint leaves from yard. And although these silver leaves have lost their smell, this leaf jewelry is a reminder of those fun summer nights drinking tall glasses of mint juleps in the backyard as well as enjoying mint hot tea on a cold winter night. They are finished with a touch of carnelian gemstones for a little pure and uplifting energy in this nature jewelry.

Organic objects such as order leaves often make the most unique and stunning patterns. Intricate and realistic detailing of leaves can only be achieved through a process that is very much a labor of love. After finding a gorgeous leaf that has fallen off the tree, I bring it home and paint about fifteen layers of precious metal clay slip onto the leaf. I then fire it in the kiln to produce a gorgeous, nature-inspired fine silver (.999) leaf that can be cherished forever.
