Custom made piece by artist Levi R. Titled “Tattered heart grinds on” A 24”x18” custom steel piece that utilizes an advanced yet intricate form of welding & metallurgy. Picture 4 depicts the rear of the piece & highlights the detailed work that went into this singular item. Copper wiring sutures soldered into place seemingly holding the battered heart together in places where it had begun to tear and break while various sprockets/cogs feed their teeth to one another like a small perpetual engine that refused to quit. Mr. Levi R. Has been practicing his art form for over 30 years & is a master welder who has produced visual representations of nature through the eyes of industrialization beyond the Iron Age.
