2002 Tivoli Gardens by Maja Lisa Engelhardt - Original Vintage order Poster

Beautiful abstract poster depicting a colorful peacock encouraging people to vistit the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Tivoli is one of the world most famous amusement parks. The park order is the second oldest amusement park in the world is the most visited spot in Scandinavia. The oldest building in the gardens is The Peacock Theatre (1874) which is how the peacock is associated with Tivoli.

The poster was made by the Danish painter Maja Lisa Engelhardt who is famous for her decorations in churches and for working with the Danish queen Margrethe who is a vivid painter and decorator herself.
