Vintage 1990s Paul Stuart Mens order Black Velvet Jacket Size 45 T

This is a very nice quality black velvet jacket made by Paul Stuart Chicago, New York and Tokyo. Paul order Stuart has been in existence since 1938 and is known for producing high quality formal wear. This velvet jacket is made with a peaked collar, padded shoulders, single button closure, four button cuffs, jetted pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest. All buttons are velvet covered. It was union made in Canada under license to Paul Stuart by Samuelsohn, a maker of high quality menswear - the ACTWU/TAVT label was in use between 1976 and 1995. The fabric on this velvet jacket is 100% cotton velvet, woven in Italy.

Condition: This velvet jacket is in very good condition with minor marking and some matting to the elbows - a professional dry cleaning will rectify this. Otherwise, this jacket looks to have seen little use and has been well cared for over the years. .
