An exceptional 1920's Landers Frary & Clark (LF&C) extra large butchers hog splitter knife.

Landers Frary & Clark was one of the most prolific and successful American cutlery order companies for 85 years (1865-1950), world renowned for their quality and workmanship.

Excellent antique condition with a nice even distribution of blade stain patina, no rust or pitting, rock solid and tight as it should be.

The very sharp hammer forged high carbon steel bullnose blade is constructed full tapered tang with solid wood scales secured with three replacement steel cutlery rivets.

Knife measures 19.75" inches overall with a full 14 1/8" inch blade. Blade is signed Universal within a shield Hammer Forged.
