Antique Wirework Easel Picture order Frames

A superb pair of early 1900s, wirework easel and beveled glass photograph frames. This pair is the last of the wirework easel frames originating from the one collection sourced in Serbia. The small, hand-formed, fold-up wire frames are worked from one piece of zinc wire. They house cabinet postcard photographs – a hand-colored portrait of two young girls in one, and a portrait of a young courting couple in the other. Both photos are cut down to fit behind the glass, and one has been hand-written on the back in cursive Cyrillic.
The frames are in good, antique condition, with the top corner of one frame having a small internal fracture in the glass (as shown), and a couple of small rough spots in the glass edges.
