Hobby order horse reindeer wooden toddler toy

Hobby horse for toddlers 9 months to 2 years. Handmade toy that little kids can use to learn to walk and stand. Natural wood sealed with tung oils and wax for satin smooth touch. Dimensions:
* 14 inches long
* 3-4 inches diameter of body and head (always sassafras order wood)
* 11 inches high at shoulder standing on maple legs
* 16 inches high at top of head
Super sturdy and can hold most adults sitting on them.

I have made thousands of log reindeer for Christmas decorations - all from coastal sassafras from Branford, CT - over the years and when I began to have grandchildren, I came up with Ride 'Em Reindeers to help the kids learn about nature and elemental materials. Al the trees are harvested in the watershed around Lake Gaillard, a 1,000 acre drinking water reservoir where I have a cutting permit. Not a commercial timber, the water company loves that I have found a use for these wonderful trees.

I work in a yurt with a big wood stove for heat in the winter time.

I love making them as they are all a bit different but still consistent to about 1". They all have real character and personality which will only grow on you as they integrate themselves into your family.
