Product Name: Vintage Trenton China, Union order Pacific Railroad winged streamliner pattern plates
The distinctive Streamliner designed china was manufactured by several different makers, including Homer Laughlin, Syracuse China, Sterling and Trenton for the Union Pacific's famed "City" trains, such as the City of Los Angeles or City of Denver. The pattern featured gold pin striping and a winged train emblem that ranged in color from rust-red to green or brown, the pattern was first introduced in 1936. These were made by Trenton China order and Scammell's. Scammell ones are quite a bit rare. The 4th pictured is Scammell's China. First 3 plates are in close to near mint condition. However, the fourth plate has some surface cracks on top and bottom and the gold is wearing away. Selling as is and as a set.
