Boulder Opals, like all stones, are one of a kind. This particular type of Opal forms in the cracks of the host stone to create beautiful patterns. Boulder Opals are known for their warm "Earth energy" and assist in developing your spiritual abilities.

The pattern on this stone and its simple play of color are what initially drew me to it. It is a rather busy stone so I didn't want to over complicate the shank. This ring highlights a simple Boulder Opal with a single granule sitting at each side of the shank.
