Product Name: S#14 Prototype 1990 Fender order Headphone Guitar Amp
Today, portable digital guitar modeling amplifiers are everywhere. In 1990, to say there were slim pickings ? Understatement. The "Rockman" by Tom Shultz from Boston was probably the most popular option at the time which sounded abysmal. There was the trusty Pignose but it had zero effects or flexibility in the sound. Then Fender came out with this gem. Ton of tweakable tone and a lush chorus and trem. Miles above the competition at the time and order honestly sounds better than any small Fender solid state amp I've played. Works and sounds killer, but what makes this one in particular special, is that this one is a pre mass production, patent pending, serial number 14 prototype. A Ford Model A in an age of Lamborghinis that's faster and better handling. Hookup to stereo speakers instead headphones and you got a rockin' bedroom practice amp. Put on headphones, attach it to your guitar strap, wander around your living room wailing away at 3AM without waking anyone. Cool thing. Cool history.
